Prototype info: 26452-26800, built 1972-8
Originally coded PTA, these wagons were built for BSC to carry imported iron ore. To speed unloading the whole wagon could be 'tippled' (turned upside down) without the need to uncouple. This means there are three types of wagon: outer with fixed coupling, outer with rotary coupling (both JTA); and inner wagons with one fixed and one rotary coupling (JUA). Several have since been rebuilt to covered steel carriers. Those used by British Steel were painted in both light and dark grey and blue at various times and locations.

One batch of these wagons was sold for further use as aggregate carriers, used by Foster Yeoman (722, 723) and ARC (724, 725), later merged (Mendip Rail, then Hanson). The dark grey versions (726, 727) would also suit the current VTG livery.

Suitable transfers for most liveries are available from Fox Transfers.
