2500 series GWR '1930' corridor stock

Etched sides in 4 thou." Nickel Silver to convert the Dapol 'B set' coaches into early 1930s 9'/9'3" wide Collett corridor stock. These coaches lasted until about 1963 (BGs to '66/7) and can be painted in pre- and post-war GWR Chocolate & Cream, wartime all-Brown and BR Crimson & Cream and lined Maroon liveries (BGs can also be plain BR Crimson or unlined Maroon).

Conversion packs include plastic shell vents and cast corridor connections (by Ultima), glazing, instructions and roof plans. Note that these conversions involve quite a bit of 'chopping' on the original coach body. The simplest is the BG as this has the fewest windows. The most difficult are the BTKs as they re-use the recessed door, but in a different position.

New Restaurant car stock conversion packs are in development, H38 & H39/H40 twins in refurbished condition (with original condition to follow). These will require Dapol 'Autocoach' (9' plate) bogies to complete (Spares part Nbog2). These are awaiting completion of the masters for the specialist castings to detail the roof and underframe.
